On Saturday, July 4, I’m doing something completely different. Over the pass year, our community has supported every crazy idea, every paint night, every tour, every event, and I’ve always wanted to find new ways to bring people together. That’s where The Laugh Sesh was born. This one is extra special because I’ll be celebrating my birthday with all of you right here in Winnipeg.

 

For our very first Laugh Sesh, we’re flying in Toronto’s own Keith Pedro, a Juno-nominated comedian whose comedy has been featured on Roast Battle Canada, Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, Just For Laughs, and stages across North America. He’s one of my favourite comedians, and bringing him to Winnipeg has been on my bucket list for a long time.  

 

Joining him will be Winnipeg’s own Benji Rothman, Mike Green , Scott Koporas & Punjabi Painter from Vancouver as your MC. The goal isn’t just one comedy night. The goal is to create something for the community. A place where people can laugh, connect, support local talent, and be part of something new. If this first one is successful, we’d love to expand The Laugh Sesh throughout Winnipeg and eventually take it across Canada.
